High-performance exterior coatings for a long-standing local business…
As a local NJ painting company, we’ve enjoyed the opportunity to really get to know many of our clients over the years. This often involves helping them care for their homes, whether we’re finishing routine exterior paint jobs and wood repair, or maybe painting and finishing kitchen cabinets. Heritage’s Dairy Stores is a local icon, known as a friendly convenience store with a whole line of delicious signature subs. We painted their iconic barn (check it out below!), but we’ve also painted and coated a number of their store locations as well.
Elastomeric Coatings: the Perfect Choice for This Commercial Exterior
After consulting with our client, we suggested an elastomeric coating for their exterior finish.
Here’s why we thought it was a good fit:
- Elastomeric coatings are actually designed for masonry exteriors, like the one here. They offer a high-build (thick) protective coating that protects against moisture intrusion, efficiently filling all the nooks, crannies, and small gaps that go along with surfaces like these.
- Since elastomeric coatings are thicker than paint, they offer an extremely durable, long-lasting finish. For commercial properties especially, we know that this kind of value and ROI is appreciated.
- Elastomeric coatings are also flexible – an added benefit for masonry where shifting and settling can occur and there is more susceptibility to freeze/thaw cycles.
